I wrote about these cookies once before…. a long time ago when we first made them here. Well, guess what? They are still incredible and still a family favorite.

We make them every fall, they are the request of family members and friends, and my kids beg for them in the summer, even though I just can’t do it unless it is fall or winter.

They remind us of the change of season, of the beauty of fall and of putting calories into our mouths and not caring about it!

I recommend using a Silpat for cooking these cookies, just as I use with all my cookies. It makes such a difference and also makes clean up so easy!
